Tulbaghia capensis ref1904

The first to be described, and easily distinguished by its deeply lobed fleshy orange-brown corona with contrasting green segments which pale at the margins.
The day and night scented 7+ flowered umbels are held on 36 cm scapes above dark-green slightly glaucous foliage that is tinged pinkish-violet at the base.
Flowering September - March.
Summer dormant in the Northern Hemisphere and best bought indoors for winter.
