Tulbaghia dregeana

Found growing in stony soils, Tulbaghia dregeana is a very distinct species with short fleshy creamy-yellow corona and even shorter green perianth segments paling to yellow at the margins.
Set atop 39 cm scapes the umbel is approx 11 flowered and is a delicately and sweetly scented of baby's talcum powder, late afternoon onwards.
Foliage is flat ribbon like, with a fawnish-purple suffusion towards the base, and lays prostrate by the time the flowers are in bloom.
I over-winter mine in a cool room indoors.
