Tulbaghia leucantha Ref 1122

To be verified.
Probably a form of T. leucantha crossed. Often listed incorrectly in the trade along with others as T. alliacea. [ the latter being quite rare.]
Reflexed glossy pea-green perianth segments edged with white and a corona that is greenish-mustard at first, changing to orange and finally to bright orange at maturity.
Opening in succession on 46 cm tall scapes, the flowers are pendulous becoming upright just prior to setting seed.
Grey-green linear foliage. June-October.
15 flowered umbels. Vigorous and hardy in our garden.
