Tulbaghia leucantha H+B 11996

Syn T. dieterlenii. The 5" slender glaucous foliage is a perfect foil for the tiny flowers composed of very slender reflexed green perianth segments which flush purple on maturity. The corona which is tan at first matures to bright rusty orange-red. Even the unopened flower buds are an attractive purple striped green.Distinctive seed pods of glossy black are an added bonus. A really delightful little plant with a long flowering period mid-May onwards. Night scented, and best grown in a pan for close viewing. [7-8"] 20 cm.
