Tulbaghia leucantha ex Sentinal Peak

Vernacular names: Southern Sotho: leta la phofu.
Tulbaghia leucantha is a variable species often differing in flower size, corona colour and foliage.
This is a rare high altitude form collected on Sentinal Peak for Dave Fenwick.
Hovering above low tufted clumps of foliage, pale perianth segments with a central flush of green and a corona which changes from yellow-brown to orange tan and then to bright-orange as it matures.
Very floriferous and scented late afternoon and night.
Best in a pan for close proximity viewing.
Mid-May onwards. [6-8"] 15-20 cm.
