Tulbaghia violacea x Tulbaghia violacea var. maritima ref 1903

An open pollinated seedling that occurred here which exhibits many of the characteristics of Tulbaghia violacea var. maritima, but the foliage is more slender than the former and the 12-14 flowered umbels have flowers of the palest violet-pink on longer pedicles.
Consequently the habit of the plant appears less stiff. Prolific in flower with abundant blooms from April/May to the end of October on 50-55 cm scapes it is lovely for a pot on the patio, and also lasts well in flower arrangements.
Again this is one we have also tried against the house wall which only receives full sun until lunch time, and it has performed well.
Exact identity, yet to be verified.
