Tulbaghia Purple Eye

Very floriferous Tulbaghia cominsii x T. violacea hybrid by Dick Fulcher, with umbels of glistening white flowers contrasted with dark-purplish scales. The foliage is fine and glaucous grey-green and "sets the flowers off a treat." Flowers March-April right through the autumn, when we cut them off to give the plant a bit of a rest. 10 flowered umbel. Height 30-40 cm.

Please note!

This was previously listed here, elsewhere on the web, and the RHS Plant finder as Tulbaghia cominsii x violacea ‘Purple Eyes’ and T. ‘Purple Eyes’ which was incorrect. Thanks Dick for bringing it to my attention.
