Tulbaghia simmleri Alba ref 1147

Australian clone imported by Dave Fenwick, with wonderful ornamental, broad, odourless, 23 mm wide glaucous foliage and 17 flowered umbels of white flowers with creamy white coronas.
The heads measure 8-10 cm across, and are very lightly scented by day but intensely so during the evening and night.
Flowering commences in late July - August for a couple of months and once again late winter through to spring.
Lovely on the windowsill or in the conservatory for much needed cheerfulness during December March. Scape 37 - 45 cm.
Recorded as having a perfume of Jasmine, or Gardenias, but to my hooter its Hyacinths.

Excellent long lasting cut flower.
