Tulbaghia Hazel

Registered and introduced in autumn 2004, our own introduction which we named after my Mum Hazel Gillmore. Opening in succession, 18-20 flowered umbels, composed of subtle reflexed pale brownish-pink perianth segments each with a fine central gold line. These are complimented with a corona which is greenish-yellow tipped mahogany brown, turning golden yellow tipped rusty-brown and finally golden-yellow tipped rusty-orange, and if that weren't enough it releases a heady aroma of incense at night. Long flowering period late June - to first frosts. Glaucous linear foliage. Flowering height 60 cm and very special.
